Re Pivots.

Mr. Wormald. 20/3/13. RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}12/720313.

We received late last night the following telegram from Mr. Royce:-

"Digs should be in hand for pivots with stub axle lowered three quarters inch otherwise like F.3253 raising the front of existing cars will be rather beneficial preferably Vickers Forgings No. Royce."

I have seen Mr. Spinney, and he cannot send the pivot drawing until he gets the hub drawing from Dunlops. We have wired Dunlops but they cannot send same until last thing to-night.

Mr. Spinney is now getting out the axle drawing and the pivot drawing, and they will be sent to Vickers to-night, anticipating the Dunlop hub.

Should any change have to be made due to the Dunlop hub being different, there will be plenty of time to alter the stampings at Vickers.

You can tell Mr. Royce the drawings have gone to Vickers, who will now have the job in hand.

As already advised, 6 pairs of pivots have gone to Paris, and 2 pairs to Page St.{Capt. P. R. Strong}

The following cars have been dealt with by Repair Dept:-
