Rolls Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, Derby. [Initials typed diagonally]: HSL/LG. HV/MC. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 17th. inst., from which we note that you would like to give the Karntoil patent adaptor a try out on your engine, and we have pleasure therefore in sending you six adaptors under separate cover for this purpose. We should like you to subject the Karntoil adaptors to any tests you care to devise as regards excessive lubrication, when we think you will agree with us that by their use sparking plug electrodes are kept free and clean from any degree of over oiling. The adaptors are designed to screw into the combustion head and are threaded on the inside to accommodate the sparking plugs. It may be of interest to you to know that Messrs. Fiat Motors Ltd., after having made tests have since requisitioned for three consignments of Karntoil adaptors. Trusting to have the pleasure of having your views on the above in the immediate future, We are, Dear Sirs, Yours faithfully, [Signature] | ||
