RE. 98-NK CAR.

We have received your telegram saying that
it is impossible to change the name of the owner of this
car. If it is at all possible, we should like you to
change the name of the owner because it is CJ's wish that
the car should be nominally purchased by him and he will
actually pay the Company for it so that in case of anything
unforeseen happening, the arrangements will be in order.

Although we have mentioned the 9th. Feb. as the
date the car will cross over, we cannot be certain that
this date will be kept. We think it is possible that the
car will be delayed for a few days after that date.

If the ownership is changed to Mr. Claude Johnson,
would it be expected that he would have to come to Paris
for the purpose of having his signature legalised?
Would it not be possible for this to be done with a Lawyer
in England? We should like to know complete details
of this because it is certain that CJ. will not come to
France for this purpose and we should therefore have to
make other arrangements as regards ownership.
