-2- Oy3-W-62323 2. Packing (continued) the felt or fabric packing we find to give excellent results. A further advantage of a packed wick of some sort is that it makes it unnecessary to produce a seal against the oil at the joints of the gaiter. 3. Means of lubrication We think an oil hole with some sort of cover is superior to a pressure-gun connection, because the latter can be used with grease or heavy oil, whereas the former implies the use of thin oil.
