Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. C. S. Steadman. With further reference to our letter of the 29th ultimo, we now have pleasure in quoting you for the Smith Heater as per sample left with you as under:- 500 Smith Heaters to our Drawing C.H.S.50, excluding the Electric Motor or any accessories. Price - £1. 19. 6d. each nett. Carriage Paid - Goods Train. The above price is of course given on the understanding that you place a firm order for 500 Heaters. Regarding the electric motor, we have not get full information in our possession in regard to this item at the moment, but hope to be able to quote you within the next few days. This also applies to the 12-volt blower and the rotary switch. We feel sure that there is no need for us to point out that our Heater is a more efficient job than the competitors' product which you are comparing in price. Our construction, in our opinion, is more robust, the blower more efficient, and if we may say so also the appearance is considerably better, all of which must of necessity somewhat increase our cost in comparison with the competitors' type FY. Cont./ To avoid delay all envelopes should be addressed to the firm. | ||
