Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Derby.

For the attention of Mr. Gryls.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 4th. instant, and are happy to say that the second set of Jacks was sent to you just before we closed for the August Holiday.

We trust that by now they have duly arrived in your Works.

With reference to the Hand Pump, we regret that it will not be possible to have this finished earlier than the 22nd. owing to our having been held up over the supply of castings, and the fact that the Works are closed during the whole of this week.

In any case you would perhaps prefer to have the first Pump in your own Works for general experimental usage rather than fit it on a car going abroad, and you may rely upon our sending it to you at the earliest possible moment.

Yours faithfully,
AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS COMPANY LTD.

G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Van Vestrant.
Chief Engineer.
