PHANTOM HEADLAMPS.

With reference to Sgl/M/25.5.28., we are arranging for two pairs of brackets to carry the P.100 type Lucas headlamps to be produced to carry the lamps at the centre distances and heights quoted in EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/13.6.28.

Will Sales please let us know where these brackets should be sent to, also if they propose to order the lamps themselves.

As requested we are sending W.W. a print of F.79057 showing layout of the P.100 lamps in the two positions.

In regard to dipping lamps for standard chassis, the standardisation Sheet which has been circulated for dipping lamps is only applicable to the Sports type chassis as the centres were only 20" in addition to which the scheme of controls etc., will require modifying to suit the latest engine suspension also to suit the engine further forward for G-2-B series.

The control arrangement which was fitted on the Sports type car for operating the lamps was only a temporary scheme.

Under these circumstances we shall require a complete new scheme to apply dipping headlamps to standard Phantom chassis.
