We should be glad if consideration could be given to increasing the gear ratio of the motor to the engine on our chassis. This could be done quite easily by incorporating a reduction gear box on the motor. The larger American chassis do this and use as large a ratio as 26 to 1. Increasing the gear ratio will enable us to obtain much higher rolling efficiencies and available BHP. We particularly have in mind the starter arrangements for the SpectreCodename for Phantom III.
