To I.M. Waller, Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, France. K200a Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}22/KW.10.9.36. 6-B-IV. We have to-day sent you six connecting rods. We want you to fit these and continue to run the car. In your reports you say the oil pressure has been maintained, therefore the wear of the main bearings should not affect the supply to the con. rods. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} does not want us to bring the car back. The new clutch should be fitted, special notice being taken whether there is any improvement in transmission rattles. I shall be at Cricklewood this week-end and all next week. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.W.Hancock. | ||
