| 7301A HOTEL DE FRANCE. CHATEAUROUX. Indre. France. GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/5/JAB. 4th November 1935. To. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From. G.W.H. 31. EX. - PHANTOM III. I have been in communication with Paris re the parts sent out for 31. EX. There is a hold up at the Customs because of the tools enclosed, mandrill for lining up bearings and Extractor complete for slipper wheel. Paris are endeavouring to obtain a special permit for these to enter. In future, will you please inform the Shipping Department that tools are being prohibited to be sent to France. If they were called anything but tools, there would be no difficulty in getting them through. We look like being held up some time. ---------- G.W.H. | ||
