Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, Your Ref. Expl.Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/MJ. With reference to your letter of the 29th instant, the main circuit of the Track will be closed at dusk on November 1st in order to carry out our usual winter repairs. At the same time I hope always to have a certain section open for testing purposes, though I cannot guarantee that there will be a complete circuit.
