The only possibility which we see of escaping from this dilemma lies in the early testing out of a modified armature which has already been issued to the Experimental Department in view of the difficulties that PN.{Mr Northey} now complains of. We think that the Experimental Department should give the closest possible attention to the production and testing of the machine fitted with the new armature referred to, as we were definitely hopeful that this would give improved conditions.
