x5300 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Semi-Vacuum Clutch Control. Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}E. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}19/E12.2.34 Referring to the above as fitted to 20-G-4, C. seems very pleased with it. I have tried the car for a short distance in town and it certainly relieves the amount of pressure which one has to apply when declutching and when holding out the clutch in traffic. I do not know what you are proposing to do about this scheme but it looks to me as if it ought to be proceeded with, and I should be glad if you would have a word with me about it when I am at Derby to-morrow. I should rather like to think that it was going to get on the next 10,000 miles cars, both models. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
