Thanks for Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG19.3.27. We have noted your remarks and take it that on Chassis with the lower gear worm - i.e. after Chassis No. GHJ.72. there would be no objection to the 6" Balloon Tyres - i.e. Customers need not be told it would be likely to make steering heavy.

Now that the low gear worm has become standard, we shall be glad to know whether you have under consideration the standardisation of Balloon Tyres on the 20 HP. so as to be consistent with Tyres on the 40/50 HP. or whether you still intend to adhere to the Medium Pressure Tyres on the 20 HP.

Information on this point, will oblige.
