Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/ML.12.8.40. 9.B.V. There is a piston tap when this car starts up cold. It feels as though it could do with more ignition advance below 30 m.p.h. as it shows no signs of detonation and is rather flat. The oil pressure shows 0 on ticking over. There was one severe bout of running after switching off after running from my house to the Clan this morning. Previously, the engine has been very free from this trouble. The clutch is beginning to jagger. The propellor shaft is still bad with people in the back. Is the rear floor-board fouling the centre bearing? Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
