DERBY.

Dear Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair},

With reference to the Ulster race, which I understand takes place on the 7th September, I mentioned to you some time ago that, should our aircraft be available, we would be pleased to fly you across for this race.

This offer still holds good, but we shall not know until a week before the race whether or not the machine will be available. However, if you like to leave it at that we will advise you a week before, and if the machine is free we can collect you at Hucknall on the 6th September, and return you there on the 7th or 8th as you wish.

Since I will probably be away at that period I am asking the office to keep you advised, but I should be glad in the meantime if you would let me know whether you would like to take advantage of this method of transport should it be possible.

I am afraid there will only be two seats available, with a possible place for a third person if absolutely necessary.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
F.{Mr Friese} R.{Sir Henry Royce} Banks
