With reference to our telephone conversation with Mr. Lindsey this afternoon, we are arranging with Park Wards for a competent man to come to the Works on Thursday morning to watch the preliminary mounting of the body you are collecting from their Works to-morrow.

Park Ward's man will travel to Derby by the early train on Thursday morning and be at the Works just before noon. He [will come - struck through] armed with a letter addressed to you to prove his identity.

This man hopes to get back to London Thursday evening and on his return to work will explain what difficulties, if any, are likely to be encountered when the [body - circled] is actually mounted immediately after the holiday.
