HEAT IN FRONT SEATS COMING UP THROUGH FOOTBOARDS. [Stamped]: REC'D With reference to BJ2/H1622 and Pn{Mr Northey}12/DN1622, judging from the description given in Spl9/H2622, we see no objection why this matter should not be arranged for at the coachbuilders. It cannot be fitted as a standard at the Works until we have obtained R's consent to the design, but there is no reason, so far as I can see from the description why Sales should not arrange to have the scheme incorporated as a part of the coachbuilders procedure. In the meantime I am sending a copy of the various notes to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}, asking him to give this matter his attention, and if they consider it necessary to give us a special design to let us have this as soon as possible.
