Inc., 315 West 47th Street, New York City. N.Y. Attn: Mr. Albert C. Root Gentlemen:- Pursuant to our conversation we are recording for your information the experience of our Company with Caspar Oil. We first tried out your product in a car belonging to one of our staff on one long test run of 1600 miles. During this entire trip the oil was not changed and at the end of this run when the oil was drawn off, we found that not quite a quart had been consumed. Furthermore, the oil appeared to be in such good condition that it was put into a second hand automobile for further use. Before finally deciding to use the oil in our demonstrating cars, we tried it out for about two months in various other cars and found that under all running conditions we secured exceptional results. We wanted to be sure that we were justified in adopting this oil for use in our demonstrators and besides, to be qualified to advise the use of Caspar Oil when any of our owners asked us about it. We have four cars in our demonstrating service. We have been using Caspar Oil for over two months in them, finding it necessary to change the oil only after each 1200 to 1400 miles, whereas, with all other oils used previously, we had to change it after 600 or 700 miles. The carbon deposit from the use of Caspar we have found to be negligible and being soft, it is very easily removed. Dilution is far less than in other oils that we have been using, also we seem to obtain more power and to have a quieter motor. We have no hesitancy in speaking in the highest terms of Caspar Oil and I will be pleased to have you use this letter wherever it will be of service to you. I have no doubt that all the Marmon distributors and owners will be using your oil as soon as you are ready to take orders for country-wide distribution.
