To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} Your telegram received - "A.C.2 Main Bearings have given trouble on production. No more should be fitted to customers cars until further notice". I have replied - "Kingsbury clear of A.C.2 bearings". We have not been in trouble with main bearings, therefore no A.C.2 bearings have been fitted, no case of second sinkage having occured due to the fact that we have rectified cases of first sinkage by removing the engine from the frame and preloading the bearings correctly.
