W.A. Robotham, Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
BELPER.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

You may remember that several months ago I brought over and left with your Mr. Rigby, one of our small self-feeding carburetters.

Although pressure of more immediately interesting work has prevented our making much progress with this little job, we have introduced one or two modifications since the time when this was left with you.

It occurs to me that if this carburetter is not, at the moment, in use, you might be good enough to return it to us so that these modifications may be incorporated...we would then send this back to you.

I am quite sure that you are very much occupied nowadays, and unless, therefore, I hear from you to the contrary during the course of the next week or so, I will assume that this suggestion meets with your approval, and will write to Mr. Rigby asking him to let us have this little carburetter back long enough to enable us to bring this right up-to-date.

I would like you to know how very pleased we were here to learn of your recent appointment. Mr. Skinner and Mr. Kent join me in offering you our congratulations.

I expect you will be familiar with the good progress that has been made with the Fuel Injection Scheme you were so kind as to introduce to your Aero Section last April.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
