Mr. E.R. Hall's Car.

The following points arose in connection with Mr. Hall's car during discussion on April 23 :-

(1) All oil pipe joints have to be sealed on the car. I am not quite clear what this means, and Mrs. Hall is bringing back some information from Sr. next week, but I should like you to remind me about it before the car goes into the Shop for its final preparations.

(2) The radiator has to be sealed as well as the petrol pipes. We want to arrange that the radiator cap comes to a definite position every time it is screwed on, and this locates the position of the sealing eyes.

(3) Attached is a list of spares I have recommended. Everything that is likely to be fitted to the car during the race has to be on the car. I should like to have any further suggestions from you.

(4) Hud ess is coming on May 7th to inspect the engine. While he is here we want to show him our method of feeding oil into the sump, extra oil tank etc., in fact anything else on the car which is a departure from standard. B-35-AE will be back by that time.

(5) I recommend we run without a voltage regulator and control dynamo with hand switch. What does Wst. think about this ?
