Inspection report of the salvaged boat Miss England II after an accident.

the accident the resulting blow must have been enormous. On Sunday, the 29th June, I inspected Miss England II in Borwick's Boathouse at Windermere soon after she had been salvaged. I examined the engines and found that they turned by hand quite as freely as they had ever done. The only damage to any portion of the machinery which I could observe was to certain pipes which damage had presumably been caused in the process of lifting her out of the water.
