The lugs require a quicker taper as they get frosted on end and cause a great strain on the plate joint which seems rather weak. Komparison as regards weight - Edisons total weight } 32 1/2 [strikethrough] 34 lbs. for 8.5 volts. including tray } Exide cells. including box. 15 lbs./4 volts. (see later weight comparisons).
