c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Liles B.60 ENGINE - 3¾ BORE. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}3/G.3.10.38. 1044 Experimental wish to try an experimental engine of the B.60 type with a 3¾ bore. Herewith is FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}257 which shews the increased bore obtained by modifying the existing pattern temporarily, so as to get a casting, the pattern being then returned to its present form. The points, the design soundness of which is in doubt, are noted on the drawing. It is proposed to try the present head unchanged, which will give a compression ratio of 7.15 to 1.
