Proposed specification for 9.B.V. to represent first 50 sets. Referring to HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/WSC.{W. S. Cassel}1/BA.16.1.39. will you please note the following :- 1. PD.339 2" tension shackles. Rear Springs. The following will be required and are being detailed. FCD.1148 Petrol tank supports. ECD.1151 Exhaust tail pipe support. 2. Steering column LOP.FB.4496. Three lever controls required in place of W.III controls to allow mixture control. Existing will do but will require lengthening when correct steering wheel is available. (The steering cam and rocker shaft are not correct and require bringing up to date). 3. Mixture control required as shown on ECD.617 and 618. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} will supply carburetters to suit. 4. Dashboard and fittings. The following are required. FCD.1101 dashboard. FCD.1093 mounting. FCD.1118 arrgt. of dash fitment. These should be urged as their release for first 50 sets is held up pending completion on this car. 5. Floorboard and fittings. The following are required. FCD.1033 centre floorboard. DCD.1162 mod. to centre cover and wiring on dash. FCD.1112 revised position for footswitch. | ||
