P.III Experimental Cars, 36-EX and 37-EX. With further reference to E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/MN.16.11.35, it would suit us much better for the Lockheed Co's man to go to Park Ward and inspect the dummy chassis there and for this chassis to go on to the works at Leamington in due course. We want to keep the dummy which has the Hooper body. We have agreed to hand over the body to you and we have arranged with Hoopers to build a replica because we want such a car in the showrooms here, as it will probably form one of our standardised models and we must be able to show a sample to possible customers. Please let ue know whether you agree, in which case we will tell Park Ward to allow the Lockheed man to look over the dummy when it gets there. [Signature: Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}] | ||
