S/W To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re 6-B-IV. Girling Brakes. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}8/Ell.1.37 Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} I was concerned to notice on the report dated 3rd and 4th the statement that 'these brakes are not up to standard in pulling the car up from high speeds' as of course we do not want any reduction of efficiency in the brakes. Unfortunately the car has stopped running so that I have not seen any further reports and I was going to raise the point when I came to Derby this week but, as I am not now coming up, I should like to have your comments.
