IGNITION DISTRIBUTOR.

It has been observed that the spring on the contact finger in the battery ignition distributor, new design to I.e.C.2460/1, rubbed on the side of the case and we therefore added a larger diameter distance piece to prevent this, the result of which is to allow the whole of the spring to work and we get 25 ozs. pressure on the contact points instead of 16 ozs. as per your test specification of 7.7.27.

Will you please let me know if you consider this pressure too great or if not will you alter your specification to suit.

It may be advisable to have the 3 levers of your test rigs fitted with the larger diameter distance pieces so that your tackle is up-to-date.

Case.
