MYTH.
Clutch Actuation.

We attach to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH's copy the original of :-

PL.503 - Clutch Actuation.

The above scheme shows the clutch actuation mechanism for Myth, it is of the swinging arm type similer to that designed for the Senior Range.

The design of the clutch thrust which was partly shown on PL.355 has been completed, the trough for the lubrication of the thrust bearing on the thrust bearing carrier, is shown cast integral with the carrier, and not as a separate pressing, which should reduce the cost.

The lubrication tube and joint in the clutch casing cone, we have simplified and cheapened from the Senior Range design, and suggest that these pieces could be used to advantage on the Senior Range models.

This scheme also completes the design of the clutch casing.
