Origin: To prevent seizure of pistons during very cold weather, to stop piston knocks. Experimental Test Report: Fitted to 23-EX. Oil feeds immediately engine is started. There is no trouble at very [illegible] piston knock audible. Road Test Report: Fitted to 23-EX. and run 10,000 miles in France. No piston knocks were audible throughout the test. Condition of cylinders was very good. Oil immediately feeds to pistons when engine is started up. Weight of Old Part. Weight of New Part. Difference per Car.
