Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EB30616. May 30th, 1916. X. No. HOLLOW ARM LOCKING LEVERS FOR EAGLES. 1913. We have run a set of these for 80 hours on an experimental engine. The adjusting screws were locked by a nut on top. There were no split pins. We have not had a case of one working loose. We recommend that these should be made standard. They weight 5 1/2 ozs. complete as compared with 6 ozs. for the present ones. RH.{R. Hollingworth} [Handwritten on left margin] 1913 | ||
