Will you please let me know what is being done about the Chimney at the Clan Foundry, about which I wrote to you a few days ago.

We find ourselves covered in clouds of thick black smuts, from time to time, and will probably be having complaints from the local inhabitants to the effect that we are becoming a public nuisance.

The black-out job is also becoming very urgent. Will you please give this your immediate attention.
