Dear Sirs, Attention of Mr.W.A.Robotham We thank you for yours of 28th inst. The Rover arrangement of splines is reversed to yours in that a male spline is on the Propeller Shaft and is in the form of a flange fitting something like the enclosed sketch. This allows a standard method of balancing and testing a completed shaft and also allows a ready means of taking the unit out of a car. The sketch you enclosed would be lighter but it creates a special part and may interfere with assembly. We look forward to your test results of needle bearings. Yours faithfully, p.p.HARDY,SPICER & CO. LIMITED. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} A.{Mr Adams} DANIELL. Director. | ||
