FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} C. to CG. WOH. C. to DY.{F R Danby} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL P. 2. EPICYCLIC 3rd. SPEED GEARBOX. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}4/M14.2.31. *7310. We had completed the epicyclic 3rd. speed gear with the exception of the gate and levers, and the seating positions, and the controls on the top of the steering column. We send herewith prints of N. schs. 3220/21., shewing respectively the driving positions and the existing P. 2. levers adapted to this box. It is possible that a reverse stop will not be needed, in which case the gear lever is perfectly plain, but for the moment we suppose it would be desired to use it, especially as the lever is existing. Control on top of steering column following in a day or two. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
