Re Road Springs.

In my note W42/WJ24.9.20 I gave you copy of a letter from Mr.Fawcett (Thos.Firth & Sons Ltd) dated 23rd Sept. and I sent you a sample of sand-blasted steel for your approval and for the subsequent approval of coachbuilders. I have not had a reply to my note, either from you or from C.(Sales) and now I have received a further letter from Mr.Fawcett, dated 4th inst. as follows:-

"On September 23rd I sent you a small sample of Spring Steel sandblasted, for you to have painted and reported on. We are getting on I am pleased to say with the lay-out of the Spring plant, and have got most of it ordered, and I am very anxious to complete the whole scheme. I should be much obliged if you could push forward the report as to how the sandblasted finish would do for painting."

I shall be glad to have a reply from you at your earliest convenience and also from C.(Sales).

28/9

Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead}
