SS.{S. Smith} UNIVERSAL JOINTS.

With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG8.2.29., we notice that the trunnion bearings as indicated on your sketch at the end of the note are definitely more flexible than those indicated on the N.sch. of either the 20 HP. or SS.{S. Smith} We do not say the N.schs. are stiff enough but they are certainly stiffer than the std. pieces.

We assume that you are not wanting a further design for these pieces.
