Description of Parts. MORGANITE EG.2 QUALITY BRUSHES FOR 20 HP. DYNAMOS (in case only of failure of supply of present standard Z Le Carbone brushes).
Origin. Desirability of second source of supply in case of failure.
Experimental Test Report.
The EG2 material is the nearest Morganite equivalent of the Le Carbone Z material, being hard graphitic, and having a specific resistance of .0012 ohm per inch cube.

"We now have further evidence on examination of a set of these brushes running on a dynamo on 7-GII, that EG.2. brushes are satisfactory as an alternative to our standard Z Le Carbone, and as such should be kept in mind in case of failure of supply of Le Carbone."
