1052 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gryl/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 11th August, 1937. Messrs. Lendrum & Hartman, Buick Works, Old Oak Lane, Willesden Junction, N.W.10. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter and quotation for certain rear axle parts to suit a Cadillac type 60 chassis. We note that the hub and brake drums is one item. We do not necessarily want the brake drum, and wonder whether it is essential to buy this at the same time as the hub. With regard to the washer between the hub and the ball bearing we have marked on the sketch below to what we refer. Yours faithfully, For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
