Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.3/MA. 23rd May, 1934. Messrs.Siemens Electric Lamps & Supplies Ltd., 38-39 Upper Thames Street, London, E.C.4. Dear Sirs, Replying to your letter of the 16th instant reference KEB/KMW. we have perused the copy of your automobile lamp leaflet and note that your recommendations in regard to our chassis are not correct. For the Phantom & 20/25 HP. we do not recommend any higher wattage for the side and tail lamp bulb than 4 watts, whereas in your list 6 watt lamps are specified. We are strongly of the opinion that 4 watt lamp bulbs in the side lamps are ample for the purpose required and we make this recommendation to our customers in our instruction book. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
