WOOD MILNE
TYRE PUMP CONNECTIONS.

It is evident that the tyre pump connection sent away with 6.EX Car is of a very old-fashioned type. For years now the Wood Milne pump people have standardised the "Boyce" Patent connection. This connection is the push-on type. A milled nut is turned about half a turn in order to make a joint with a rubber sleeve. They can be used on either the American or English valves. They are much more reliable and satisfactory than the screw type connection.

We will send on to Mr. Royce one of these connections.

We suggest that it is a waste of money to proceed any further with the screw connection for tyre pumps because, not only the Wood Milne, but all modern tyre pumps are fitted with the push-on type rubber connection.
