X4084 10 BJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/LG23.11.22. RE. SPARES FOR 20 HP. CARS. X4084 X4219 With reference to your memo. BJ4/H23.11.22. At the present time we have at the Works only one modern 20 HP. experimental car. This is 7-Goshawk-11. Apart from the fact that this car is constantly being used for experimental work, it also has recently been overhauled. For Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}'s requirements it is necessary for him to have a modern car which has done a considerable amount of running. We have arranged for Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} to have 6-Goshawk-11 car which is at present with Mr. Royce. We cannot get hold of that car until we have returned Mr. Royce's own car - 4-G-11. This car has been in use by the Sales Dept. for this last 6 or 7 weeks for trial runs. As soon as 4-G-11 is returned to the Works it is to be re-painted. We anticipate this will take a fortnight or 3 weeks; after that we shall return 4-Goshawk-11 to Mr. Royce and Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} can have 6-Goshawk-11 when it is returned from W.W. 6-Goshawk-11 is a modern car which has run about 16,000 miles. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
