-2- HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/KW.29.4.35. (5) Noise insulation scheme as drawn out by E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}, LeC.4464. (6) Re-line foot brake with standard material. There is a programme that a hypoid gear rear axle should be fitted to this car. The situation at present is that apart from the new pieces required for the axle, no suitable gears are available, and from our experience it will be about 3 months before the axle can be completed. For the time being, therefore, we wish to disregard this axle in the specification of the car. If necessary it may have to follow the car out to France.
