We thank you for your letter of the 12th.inst. containing the very excellent news that all the specific troubles which were besetting us can now be overcome. You will have received our letter of yesterdays date; can we incorporate the balancing pipe on the gauge for Mr. Royce's car? You will appreciate that the latest scale which we were forced to on the 40/50 is rather smaller than we like so that if, owing to the new modification we can revert to our original scale, we should like to do so.
