RE. FAULTY EXIDE BATTERIES.

We give below a full detailed list of the faulty Exide batteries which were inspected by Mr. McKinnon (Chloride Co's., representative), EFC, and ourselves on the 31st ult.

Ex. Chassis 20-TW
(Attention of BP).
The Chloride Co., are supplying a new 12 volt battery as a replacement, for which they are charging us 50% of the actual cost. We consider the customer should be debited with this charge. ✓

✓ Ex. Chassis 12-NE
(Attention of D.L.)
The Chloride Co., are supplying free-of-charge two new cells as replacements. ✓

Ex. Chassis 17-RE
(Attention of D.BP.)
Mr. McKinnon considers that i in this case we should pay for the repairs entailed in re-conditioning the one 2 volt cell we have from this car. We are of the opinion the customer should be debited with this cost. ✓ ✓

Ex. Chassis 10-RE
(Attention of D.BP.)
The Chloride Co., have agreed to replace the one 2 volt cell returned from this car free-of-charge. ✓
