QPL.188 Section thro' Beaufighter Fuselage at Front End of Gun Cradle. The above schemes show sections through the Beaufighter Fuselage at points where fouls were liable to occur due to the gun being dropped and rocked inwards at 12½º to the Vertical. QPL.187 gives the position of the trimming cables in relation to the ejection chute hole in the keel plate, it also shows the position of the hopper in relation to the floor stiffeners.
