COPY. X200- Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/P.24.7.35. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Radiator. Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}4/E.22.7.35. This type of matrix is standardised on the Bentley and on many American cars. We are asking G.W.H. if he can measure any drop in efficiency due to flies, etc. On previous tests in 1924 I could not find they made much difference, though they looked bad. Large Bore 20/25. We are looking to the large bore Bentley, which will run in France, developing about 120 HP. to prove the pieces for the 20/25 (which will only have to develop about 90 B.H.P). We are aiming at getting the Bentley over by the end of August. The difficult parts on the 20/25 are the finalling off of the induction system, controls, etc. which can only be done in England. With the SpectreCodename for Phantom III programme, we shall be fortunate if we get the 20/25 away by the end of September. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
