REAR SPRINGS AND REAR BUMPER Please receive herewith the following scheme :- F.CD.768 Attachment Lever for D.W.S. Hydraulic Portable Jacks. The above scheme shews a lever arm from the rear spring shackle bracket to the end of the body to take the portable hydraulic jack. The method of attaching the jack has been modified to prevent the car from running off the jack, with the wheel clear of the ground. The rear bumper mounting has also been modified, and is similar to Wraith 111 in design. We have shewn the scheme for 50" spring, because it can then be tried on the existing cars. Should the springs be lengthened to 56", the conditions become easier. DA. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
