Instrument Board Dimmer Switch. With reference to your report Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.3/JH.18.11.36, we are still awaiting the re-trial of this unit with the coarser wire, which was instructed on the 12th October last, and which would tell us if the temperature is likely to be satisfactory with a coarser gauge. We have instructed this modified size of wire for the altered design of dimmer to RR.107, three of which units are being made up at the moment. The modified design of unit was first instructed on the 5th of November, and the quantity was increased to three sets on the 13th November. It is important that these should be finished as soon as possible. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
