X8992 Restaurant-Octobon., Le-Canadel. Par-Le-Lavandou. (Var) France. 25.3.28 14.E.X. at Le-Canadel;........... Mr. Hives from Dodd. Total Mileage.... 6,129 ENGINE This is running very well, and our oil consumption very good. No engine oil was added during the first 3,000 miles: oil was then changed and filters cleaned, both the gauze of engine, and automatic advance being covered with a black "slimy" substance. We have now done 6,129 miles without adding further oil so propose changing any time now. No electrical trouble has been experienced up to the present, battery control cut-out giving every satisfaction, and proving a great saver of battery, very little distilled water being required. Tappets- these have required readjusting the (exhaust) stretching slightly. cont'd | ||
